1. Information stored on your device
Lesson progress, test results, streaks, theme and keyboard preferences are saved in your browser's local storage. This data is not uploaded to our servers. Clearing your browser data or switching devices will reset it.
2. Text you type
Practice text is processed in your browser to calculate speed and accuracy. When you use Romanized input or AI-generated practice passages, the short text needed for that feature is sent to a processing service only to return a result, and is not used to identify you.
3. Microphone
Voice typing only starts after you grant microphone permission in your browser. Audio is handled by your browser's speech service; we do not record or store it.
4. Analytics and logs
Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and performance. We may use privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics that do not build personal profiles.
5. Cookies
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any storage we use is strictly to make the app work and remember your preferences.
6. Children
The site is suitable for learners of all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Your choices
- Reset your progress at any time from the Settings page or by clearing site data.
- Deny microphone access to disable voice typing entirely.
- Email us to ask any question about how data is handled.

10. Data security
The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS. Because most of your data never leaves your device, there is very little for anyone to leak. We send standard security headers and keep our dependencies up to date.
11. Third-party services
Some practice text may be generated by an AI service. Only a short request such as a topic and word count is sent, never your personal information or the text you have typed. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for a short time to keep the service secure.
12. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. Since we hold almost none, the quickest step is to clear this site's data in your browser settings. For anything else, contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
